Hello Everyone! Check out our new video, featuring the Art In Your Life team and the kids at Cornwall School! It was during our last session with the kiddos and everyone was quite emotional...
One of our dearest mother, Margaret, have been interviewed recently about the programme. Check out her great words! Thanks Margaret!
On nov. 12th, the kids had their art session. They cut, glued and assembled a portrait of an animal they felt a connection with. The cartoonish shapes and the colorful materials were all inspired by Jeff Koons world. It was very crafty and we were so impressed by the final artwork we got! So joyful and fun! Our team was so proud...
Boys, a penny for your thoughts... ;-)
A giraph for Ella, a owl for Katy and a dolphin for Pia! Looks like Joshua went for the Dinosaur :-)
Circle Time! At the end of the session the kids gathered to share their artwork and their feelings.
The next Jeff Koons might be coming out from our programme :-) Love these artworks!!! Big thumb up Kiddos!
On Nov. 8th we had our first session with a new environment, inspired by the work of the artist Jeff Koons. It was a slow pace yoga session with poses inspired by animals. The kids loved the relaxation aspect of it and we could already see the progress in their yoga movement. Impressive!

On November 8th, we got a great article on SCMP. Their journalist cam during our last session on yayoi Kusama work. they interviewed a few kiddos and their moms. Our therapists gave them an overview of our programme. Thanks again Lowei for an amazing coverage. You can download the pdf of the article here.
The kids had so much fun with our Yayoi Kusama photobooth during our last session! Big thumbs up for Chan's family: They loved Yayoi's iconic style! Check out the pics below, can you spot the real Yayoi?
Oct 22: An other successful Yoga session! We are amazed by how the kids loved it! Keeping the poses, following the instructions, jumping in the arms of our volunteers, listening and having fun! We developed this session around Yayoi Kusama's flower sculptures, to work with breathing techniques.
We started with a session about the different body parts and colors, sticking polka dots on our body.
And here are our colorful flowers! Looks like someone is really excited about it!
It was all about different odors, textures and colors. The kids explored mouth breathing and nose breathings. And they even got their own flowers with their favorite smell! Coconut mango, lavender, mint etc.
"Scrapbooking": the kids had petals and little flowers to play with.
At the end of the session we had a special treat from Christina Hellmann (JHF Foundation for Orphan Disease). It was Joshua Hellmann birthday, we all had a special thought for him. Kids and volunteers really enjoyed their cupcakes.
Thank you Christina!
Look at that smile! Joshua always cheese-ing for the camera!
